Alongside our January sermon series, “Running Away from God”, the Table is launching a month long shoe drive in support of Soles4Souls, an awesome non-profit that distributes shoes to children, men, and women in need.
Do you have a pair of shoes in your closet that are “gently used”? Maybe you grew out of them. Maybe they aren’t your style. Maybe you upgraded. Maybe you don’t need them any more. Bring them to the Table at 9:30 AM and drop them off in our bin to share with someone in need around the world. Soles4Souls distributes shoes to places and people in need, such as areas effected by the Asian tsunami and victims of Hurricane Katrina.
We’ll watch videos and get other information throughout the month about this non-profit and how we can be a part of making a difference in other’s lives.
