The pub gathers at the Pizza Lounge Tuesday night for our regular round of conversation and good eats. I look forward to our group every week, not just because of the good connections, but because it tends to ground me and give me space to work out some big questions. That’s a huge gift as a “practicing theologian” who sits regularly and hears the stories of my church people, stories of grief, hope, renewal, and isolation. To have that community where I can vent a little, when needed, makes the whole process easier to grasp.
